Sexy Boudoir Shoot

When I think of how much fun I have with each and every client during a shoot I can't help but smile.  So many factors play into it.  The weather, the people, personality, equipment, location, nerves and so on and so forth...my point is this.  They all leave a lasting impression on me and I take what I learned during each shoot, to my next one.  I enjoy ALL my clients so very much!

When I did this boudoir shoot for my girlfriend I was a bit nervous.  First because we did the first part of the shoot at night so I had to rely solely on my flash and my trusty Gary Fong LightSphere.  I have studio lights and even though I brought them with me I didn't quite achieve the look I wanted.  For the shots in the bedroom I was literally hiding out inside her closet because it was the best angle I could find and I didn't want to lose that light, so quite literally at the end of the night I came out of the closet :)

For the second set we took our fun downstairs during the afternoon.
I have to admit I fumbled a few times because I was so pleased with what I saw through my lens, not to mention my damp sweaty palms.  I am only human after-all.  I mean look at the pictures!  Her husband will be pleased!  I did however have her convinced I was a true professional and I meant to almost drop my camera lol (not entirely sure I fooled her).

Girl, you totally rocked this shoot!  Classy and sexy as hell.

I just had to start with my absolute fave!!

This one just totally blows me away!  You are gorgeous doll!  So much mystery in her eyes.

Before I had my equipment ready I managed to get a few of her while she was practicing how to pose.  I LOVE candids!  Sometimes I'll lie to my clients and tell them I'm just adjusting my settings and to be themselves but really I'm shooting a mile a minute, those shots are always the best.  Right before and right after :)

She always had such great eye to camera contact.  I LOVED it!!  Her eyes are completely mesmerizing.

Being who I am I just had to sneak one of the silly faces in here.  It completely lightened the mood that she could be serious one moment and goofy the next.  I love clients like that.  I think it makes everyone more comfortable all around.
