Phone calls, planning, rain. Reschedule! Repeat! Such was the time I've had planning and scheduling this family session. The weather did not seem to want to co-operate, and then for one day the clouds parted and the sun shone through. Hooray! We had our day.
The fun did not start there though. I found myself driving to pick up my clients (always thinking of the environment, carpooling really makes a difference, one less carbon footprint left behind) and as we're about to pull out of the driveway wouldn't you know it the car stalled! Twenty frustrated minutes later of tirelessly pumping the gas, having a heated conversation with my husband over the phone about the lemon of a car he bought that always seems to stall on me (anything mechanical and I do not get along!), kids growing impatient and endless worrying whether or not we'd get stuck at our shoot location and we were off! Finally!
What started out as one heck of a day turned into one fun shoot!
No matter the location, the situation, the people, the props, etc. Every shoot leaves a lasting impression on me.
Without more babbling, I'm happy to introduce you to Danielle and her two darling boys!
We started off at the pier and wow was it ever busy!
This reminds me so much of my own brother lol.
It was hard not to squint when the sun was so bright but I really love the expressions on their faces!
I LOVE the expression on danielle's face, so eager to accept kisses from her boys. It's a mom thing :)
We wrapped up the shoot by taking the boys for some ice cream to cool off. They were such good sports throughout the shoot they deserved a treat.
I love making collages :)
