Flower Power

i've often heard that it's better to blog about anything than not blog at all.

i know it may not seem like i blog as much as anyone else and it's true, i don't.  i have no reason or excuse, i just don't blog as often as i should and habits are hard to break but today i thought i'd blog about my favorite flower and what a beautiful opening to a new month.

gerbera daisies have been my favorite for as long as i can remember.  it doesn't matter what shape or color, the more askew the more i like it.  they have long been considered a simple flower but they're far from simple.  from their delicate petals to the shape of their stem they are resilient and stand tall, beauty is after all in the eye of the beholder.
